Making Change Together

Worcester County Food Bank partners with individuals, businesses, organizations, and community groups to grow support for a hunger-free community. We do this because we know our voices are stronger when joined together with others who care about ending hunger.

We had guests who were fired up...worried that cuts to SNAP would mean they would have to rely more and more on our pantry. It was becoming really clear to us that we could sit around talking to one another, feeling angry and anxious, or we could talk to people in power. So we attended a training with Worcester County Food Bank where pantry volunteers and guests learned together how to reach out to our legislators about the things that matter to us. Before long, we were calling our Congress Members and knocking on doors at the State House.
