Hunger Action Month

September is National Hunger Action Month! It’s a time to raise your voice against hunger. The Worcester County Food Bank (WCFB) is once again participating in the Hunger Action Month initiative of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief charity. There are many ways you can participate and at the same time urge family, neighbors, friends and your colleagues at work to take action. Massachusetts Food Plan Listening Session

Save the Date!! We need YOU to come and share your thoughts with the folks working on the Massachusetts Food Plan! What is the MA Food Plan? It is both an assessment of and a plan to improve our food system – covering issues such as farming, ending hunger, getting more access to healthy/fresh foods in our communities, composting, improving our soils, processing and distributing food grown in MA, labor issues regarding the food industry, etc. Do you eat food?…

Food Day

Food Day is a nationwide celebration of healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced food and a grassroots campaign for better food policies. It builds all year long and culminates on October 24.

Worcester County Food Bank’s Annual Meeting

Worcester County Food Bank’s Annual Meeting is a wonderful celebration of the contributions and service of our many partners, donors and volunteers in creating a hunger-free community. All are welcome to attend, but please RSVP to 508-842-3663 by October 30, 2014.


The WCFB facility is closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
