We’re here for our community – and we’re here because of it. Your gifts of food and funds, time and talent, enables us deliver on our mission…to engage, educate, and lead Worcester County in creating a hunger-free community.
Yes, we have a lot of work still to do (1 in 11 of our still neighbors doesn’t have enough, healthy food to eat), but the progress we’ve made – the support we provided to 81,000 of our neighbors last year alone – is thanks to our community’s generosity, our partners, you.
So, in our latest issue of Nourishment, Worcester County Food Bank’s monthly e-newsletter, we’re highlighting just a few of the many stories of food and fund donors who’ve inspired others to give. We hope they inspire you, too, to think of some new way to be “community” for those who need you and to encourage others to become more involved in the movement to create a hunger-free community.
